Summary : Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. This is a dual position that includes the job responsibilities of a Patient Care Technician, a Cardiac Monitor Technician, a Visual Monitor, a Mental Health / Patient Care Technician, or a Unit Secretary.

Minimum Qualifications :

Required Certification : BLS (Basic Life Support)

Minimum requirements include : one of the following : 6 months acute care experience; or 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience; or successfully completes a BayCare sponsored Nursing Assistant or PCT Internship; or completion of Nursing Fundamentals (RN); or Nursing Foundation (LPN) Programs; or EMT certification / Paramedic license for ER only; or completed a PCT or Nursing Assistant program which includes at least 40 hours of external clinicals.

Preferred Experience : 1 year - Hospital in related field.
