Interstate Advanced Materials is looking for a Machine Operator / Fabricator to join our Portland, OR team.

In this critical role, you'll be part of a dedicated group that supports our plastic fabrication and distribution operations by producing high-quality, custom and OEM parts using CNC equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a 2-year technical degree in Machine Tool Technology to expand their knowledge or for an experienced fabricator looking to grow their skills in a supportive and innovative company.

Responsibilities :

• Operate CNC Routers, CNC Mills, and CNC Lathes Load / unload materials Perform basic housekeeping to keep work areas clean and organized Follow quality control procedures to ensure precision and accuracy Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauge, pin gauges, and other measuring tools Finishing Fabrication Deburring Trimming using hand routers Drilling using battery operated hand drills Installing threaded inserts Participate in Safety meetings, Production meetings, and Continuous Improvement meetings.
