Sr. Paralegal

We are looking for an experienced Medical Malpractice Paralegal to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will support attorneys by managing critical legal tasks and ensuring smooth workflows during litigation processes. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional organizational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Open and establish new case files, ensuring all necessary documentation is properly organized.

• Maintain and update litigation files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

• Manage the ordering, tracking, and indexing of extensive medical and other records.

• Collaborate closely with attorneys and clients throughout all stages of litigation.

• Handle electronic filing and service processes in both state and federal courts.

• Coordinate and manage attorneys’ calendars, scheduling hearings and tracking deadlines.

• Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and other stakeholders to exchange information and ensure clarity.

• Prepare trial materials and assist in trial preparation to support attorneys.

• Ensure all case-related logistics are handled efficiently and on time.

• Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a relevant certification.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical malpractice cases and trial preparation.

• Proven expertise in reviewing, summarizing, and organizing medical records.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and legal software.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with clients and legal professionals.

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently without supervision.

• Ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
