Cognos Developer:::::::::Onsite

Position: Cognos Developer Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite) Duration: 06+ Months Contract Job Description: Extensive experience designing and developing reports using IBM Cognos Analytics. Skilled in end-to-end report testing and supporting UAT. Proficient in Cognos 11.x, with additional experience in Ab Initio and data modeling is a plus. Strong experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting. Strong expertise in Framework Manager for creating and maintaining metadata models. Solid command of SQL, relational databases, and data warehousing concepts. Experience working with SaaS solutions and cloud-based data environments. Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine reporting requirements. Capable of translating business needs into clear, testable technical specifications. Maintains thorough documentation of report logic, data sources, and design decisions. Able to onboard quickly and manage deliverables with minimal supervision. Experienced in performance tuning and optimizing report/query efficiency. Knowledgeable in implementing row-level security within Cognos environments. Relevant certifications such as IBM Cognos Analytics, Power BI are preferred.
