Certified Coder - Remote

A company is looking for a Coder to ensure accurate and thorough documentation for reimbursement capture.

Key Responsibilities

Organizes and prioritizes work, reviews medical records, and assigns appropriate ICD and CPT codes

Maintains coding accuracy of 90% or better while complying with coding standards and regulations

Mentors other coders and assists in the development of coding policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (Minimum Required)

1 year of experience in ICD Coding (Medical Practice) (Preferred)

Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) certification (Required upon hire)
