Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Special Procedures Technologist to join our dynamic team. As a Special Procedures Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of specialized diagnostic and interventional procedures using fluoroscopic equipment under the direction of a physician. The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology, possess an ARRT Certificate, and hold a valid California state Fluoroscopy license.

Responsibilities:

• Perform specialized diagnostic and interventional procedures such as angiography, vascular interventions, neuro interventions, and other advanced imaging procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopic equipment to visualize and guide procedures while ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns to ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
• Assist physicians during procedures by providing necessary equipment, supplies, and support as required.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, assessing their condition and responding to any adverse reactions or complications promptly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and departmental protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and contribute to the overall efficiency of the department.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Valid California state Fluoroscopy license.
• Minimum of [2] years of experience as a Special Procedures Technologist, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Proficiency in operating fluoroscopic equipment and understanding radiation safety principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
