Metrology Technician | Wyoming, MI

Salary Range : $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform precise dimensional inspections of manufactured parts using various metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators, hand tools).
• Interpret engineering blueprints, specifications, and GD&T to determine measurement requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot metrology equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Document inspection results, generate reports, and maintain accurate measurement records.
• Develop, validate, and execute CMM programs for complex part inspections.
• Investigate and resolve measurement discrepancies or quality issues, providing feedback to engineering and production teams.
• Support manufacturing operations by providing metrology expertise and assisting with first-article inspections and in-process checks.
