Insight Global is looking for a Solution Architect to join one of our largest clients in Indiana. The Solution Architect plays a critical role in designing, prototyping, and evaluating highly scalable solutions that ensure reliability of our client’s systems. This position requires a collaborative problem-solver who values input from diverse stakeholders and can communicate complex technical concepts with clarity across teams. The ideal candidate combines creativity, efficiency, and leadership in solution design, while mentoring others and delivering measurable business value. As a Solution Architect, you will partner with engineers, business leaders, and operations teams to design solutions that keep the grid reliable and future-ready. You will shape and guide the architecture vision by creating practical roadmaps that balance innovation with operational needs. Your work will include building and sharing prototypes and proofs-of-concept to bring new ideas to life. Additionally, you will coach teams on cloud-ready and data-driven practices, helping them adopt modern tools and approaches aligned with technology standards. Collaboration with peers and vendors will be essential to deliver secure, scalable solutions that support a sustainable future.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 8-12 years in software engineering and solution / enterprise architecture
• Experience with Java or .NET, Java preferred
• Experience with Architectural Methodologies such as TOGAF, Open Agile Architecture, ArchiMate or similar
• Azure cloud experience or experience in a similar environment, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.
• Energy Industry experience
• Experience with GE EMS
• Experience with Siemens Model Management platform
• Python experience
• ArchiMate or TOGAF certification
