We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our assisted living facility. The DON will oversee all aspects of nursing care delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of excellence in resident care.

Director of Nursing (DON) Key Responsibilities :

• Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants.
• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain high standards of care.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing assisted living operations.
• Conduct regular assessments of resident care needs and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives as needed.
• Manage staffing levels, recruitment, retention, and performance evaluations of nursing personnel.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional growth, and staff engagement.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers to optimize resident care outcomes.
• Participate in budget planning and management related to nursing services.
