Med / Surg Tele RN Job Details

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1570 - $1680

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 29 / 2025 – End : 3 / 30 / 2026)

Healthcare Setting : Short-term acute care hospital

Location : Dunn, NC (28334) – Central Harnett and Betsy Johnson campuses

Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00 – 07 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36

Patient Ratio : 1 : 5-6

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Charting System : Epic EMR

Guaranteed Hours : All contracted shifts guaranteed after 2 call-offs per 13-week assignment

Floating : May float between Betsy Johnson and Central Harnett campuses

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state

BLS certification required

EPIC charting experience required

Previous travel nursing experience required

Workplace Violence Training (provided at facility)

Ability to pass Advanced EKG exam as part of compliance

Comfortable floating between similar units and campuses

Local candidates not accepted within 50 miles of facility

References not required at time of submittal

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in Med / Surg Telemetry and Behavioral Health units

Monitor and interpret telemetry data, administer medications, and manage IVs

Perform wound care, tracheostomy care, and manage central / PICC lines

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), therapeutic communication, and safety interventions

Utilize restraints, virtual safety cameras, and distraction activities as needed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Social Services

Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR

Float to other nursing units or campuses as required to support facility needs
