Senior Azure Cloud Engineer - Infrastructure

Join a consulting organization as an Azure Cloud Engineer in a hybrid role based in Plano, TX. This position is responsible for managing implementation and ongoing operations of cloud services following approved designs, adherence to patterns, and security requirements. You'll certify that all logging and monitoring are active for security and compliance while using automation, configuration management, and deployment tools to manage production environments. This role acts as the bridge between business application owners and the cloud team, fostering adoption of cloud environments and deployments. You'll work with Cloud engineers, Architects, application owners, and business stakeholders to deploy and improve the cloud environment while ensuring standardization and adherence to established controls and patterns.

This is an excellent opportunity to work as a consulting Azure Cloud Engineer where you'll be the first point of contact for application and business owners, giving you high visibility and direct impact on cloud adoption initiatives. The role offers significant variety, from implementing Infrastructure as Code and CI / CD strategies to managing comprehensive server lifecycle and security. You'll work in a collaborative consulting environment, participating in daily standups, peer code reviews, design collaboration efforts, and rotating on-call processes. • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and platforms
• Experience managing cloud service implementations and operations
