Kennel Associate

Do you have a passion for working with animals or are you looking to enter into the Veterinary Industry?

As an Animal Care Attendant in our kennel, you are responsible for providing the highest level of care and maintaining the highest well-being of our boarders.  We offer year-round boarding to cats and dogs.

Job Details :

• Your job would include walking dogs on a leash in our enclosed outdoor area, and care for our cats in the Cattery.
• You are responsible for making sure their dietary needs are met and any medications are administered correctly; cleaning the kennel runs and all animal care areas as well as daily laundry.
• You are responsible to assist with cleaning the hospital daily and ensuring our grounds are kept free from debris.
• Performing nail trims on dogs and cats as well as bathing is another area we require your expertise in.
• You will be working closely with the Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians to ensure all kenneled animals in our care are given the highest level of care and service.
• You must be reliable, have a strong work ethic and ability to convey a friendly demeanor and communications with our devoted client base.
• You will need to be able to lift or assist in lifting animals up to 50+ pounds.  Weekend and Holidays are a must and can be worked into a rotational schedule. This is NOT a job where you can call out- our boarding animals rely on you!
