Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support 4th and 5th grade students in an elementary school setting. This contract position runs from January 5th through June 12th, providing instruction within a co-taught classroom environment.

The teacher will collaborate closely with a Teaching Assistant, a General Education teacher (starting January 5th), and another Special Education teacher to meet the diverse needs of students. This role requires strong skills in special education instructional practices and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver individualized instruction tailored to students with special education needs in grades 4 and 5.
• Collaborate with co-teachers and support staff to implement an inclusive and effective teaching approach.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary to promote growth.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with relevant stakeholders regarding student performance.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive classroom environment that fosters learning for all students.
