At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Senior Engineer/Scientist you will help NAWCWD Programs strategize and plan for improvements, modifications, and creation of new airborne electronic warfare capability, helping Naval air systems maintain dominance in the electronic warfare environment.

HOW A SENIOR ENGINEER/SCIENTIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Leads and conducts research, design, development, and test of electrical and electronic warfare equipment/systems
Supervises manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems
Supports Program leadership with design strategy and recommendations and process improvement as required
Supervises or mentors other electronics engineers where appropriate
Attend Program and team meetings as required
Support creation of manuals and other documentation as required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED {Required}:
Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret
Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience in electronics hardware
Education: BS Degree (or equivalent experience)engineering, design, development, and test
Required Technical Skills: Electronics, electronic warfare, engineering/design/test
Required Skills and Abilities: Communications, leadership/mentorship
Preferred Skills: Agile/SCRUM experience, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) experience
Location: On-site at NBVC Point Mugu, CA
