As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availabilitygiving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol properties within the commercial real estate sector, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. By remaining highly visible and providing outstanding customer service, you will play a key role in supporting a secure atmosphere. You will work as part of a team that values agility, reliability, and integrity, contributing to a culture that puts people first and strives for innovative solutions in every interaction.

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior by maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Document observations, occurrences, and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols and site requirements.
  • Collaborate with building management, tenants, and other Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment.
  • Remain alert to changes in the environment and escalate concerns as appropriate following established procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
