This role involves operating a sit-down electric forklift to efficiently load and unload trucks with proper weight distribution and handle raw materials and finished products on the production floor. Responsibilities Operate sit-down electric forklift. Load and unload trucks ensuring proper weight distribution. Transport raw materials and finished products from the production floor. Essential Skills Experience with forklift operation and material handling. Proficiency in inventory management and production processes. Ability to operate a sit-down electric forklift. Work Environment The work environment is GMP compliant, requiring the wearing of hair and beard nets. The facility is well-lit, spacious, and has a pleasant aroma reminiscent of a coffee and bakery shop. It primarily involves handling dry goods such as powders with gravity-fed high-speed packaging equipment. The position is for the 1st Shift, from 5 : 30 am to 4 : 00 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00 / hr.
