Warehouse Selector - Night Shift
Schedule : Sunday-Thursday, 5 : 00 PM - Completion

Salary : $21 / hour
Position Summary
The Warehouse Selector is responsible for accurately selecting, labeling, and palletizing customer orders using an electric pallet jack while working in multiple temperature-controlled warehouse zones. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Selectors must meet performance standards for accuracy, productivity, and safety while supporting overall warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate an electric pallet jack (end-rider) to locate, select, and retrieve products from warehouse racking
- Use RF units to generate appropriate labels and ensure accurate placement on products
- Hand-select orders across Dry, Cooler, and Freezer environments
- Build pallets according to company standards (e.g., proper stacking, avoiding heavy-on-light, labels facing outward)
- Stage completed pallets at appropriate dock locations for loading
- Stretch-wrap pallets on the dock prior to loading
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on all assigned equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the shift
- Work until all orders are accurately selected and loaded, including potential overtime
- Consistently meet or exceed engineered productivity standards and accuracy goals
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding of product placement, inventory practices, and warehouse flow
Minimum Requirements
Must be 18 years or olderAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (safety and job requirement)Basic arithmetic skills (counts, calculations, inventory checks)Ability to lift 50+ lbs frequently throughout the shiftAdequate physical fitness to work at a constant pace for long periodsWillingness to work in fluctuating temperatures-including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer areasOpenness to feedback and willingness to meet company safety, quality, and productivity standardsPreferred Qualifications
6 months to 1 year of warehouse selection, order filling, or food service distribution experiencePrior experience with end-rider pallet jacks (not a forklift role)Experience in food distribution companies such as Sysco, PFG, or Ben E. KeithPrevious training in warehouse equipment and order selectionTraining & Onboarding
Full on-site training provided (1-2 weeks)
Includes equipment training, safety procedures, food handling standards, and productivity expectations
