As a member of our Engineering Team , you’ll play a key role in the design, development, and continuous enhancement of cutting-edge industrial robotic systems. We're reimagining how these systems are built, deployed, and maintained—challenging long-held conventions in industrial automation. We’re looking for engineers who thrive on innovation and aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo. The ideal candidate is passionate about integrating AI, modern robotics, and advanced software to create smarter, more efficient, and user-friendly systems—constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in automation.

As RobotOps (DevOps) Engineer, you will :

• Help define and build our Monitoring infrastructure, enabling us to scale our growing number of devices and deployments in the field
• Create a strategy and implement tools, processes, and metrics to drive Formic monitoring structure toward 99.999% availability
• Partner with customer IT teams to create tools to ensure smooth integration of our systems with customer networks
• Monitor existing systems and resolve issues as necessary
• Support provisioning of Monitoring infrastructure on new deployments
• Respond to issues detected by our automated monitoring infrastructure
• Monitor Grafana dashboards for any anomalies

Compensation Philosophy

Formic’s compensation packages - including salaries and equity - are thoughtfully benchmarked against peer companies at a similar growth stage. Equity represents a critical part of our mutual investment : when Formic succeeds, so do you.

Final compensation packages are carefully customized based on candidate preference for cash and equity balance, experience, geographic location, and market considerations. Our goal is to attract and reward top talent who will significantly impact our organization. We're open to meaningful discussions about compensation structure to secure exceptional team members.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is detailed below.

Base Salary Range :

$115,000 - $140,000 USD
