This Alabama-based general contractor is looking for a traveling superintendent. The company has a healthy pipeline, is in high-demand, and is growing. They are a mid-sized firm based in Birmingham, AL, and focus on pre-engineered metal structures, CMU buildings, and run all projects as a general contractor from inception to completion.

Job Description

Traveling Superintendent Duties :

• Develop the project vision and create the project schedule
• Supervise the entire construction staff, ensuring project deadlines are met
• Ability to predict and overcome project challenges
• Maintain a strong relationship with project managers
• Lead weekly meetings to ensure the team is working together successfully and delivering quality work
• Maintain OSHA requirements
• Mentor less experienced construction professionals
• Track project documentation, tasks, issues, etc.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors
• Travel required
