Join one of the nation’s premier academic medical centers, UChicago Medicine , as a Lead Programmer – Marketing . This is a remote, work from home opportunity, and you may be based outside of the greater Chicagoland area.
The Lead Programmer – Marketing, under general direction, has duties of architecting, designing, and implementing the front-end of scalable, high-performing digital solutions that provide a seamless user experience. Collaborates with marketing operations and other cross functional business and IT teams to ensure the front end meets business and technical requirements. This is a hands-on technical contributor who must understand underlying code, establish or work within existing coding standards, optimize performance, and ensure scalability. Must be knowledgeable with cutting-edge tools and technologies that may enhance the UI and UX, as well as user behavior and design trends that may affect website performance.

Required Qualifications
Minimum three years of experience with SitecoreCertification in Sitecore front endExperience with headless architectureFamiliar with one or more web testing frameworksExperience with modern JavaScript technologies / frameworks, such as React, Vue, or AngularExpertise in UI / UX principlesFamiliar with WCAG 2Minimum three years of experience leading IT-related projects and project / work teamsSix years of directly applicable experience in systems analysis, programming, and technical designMinimum six years of experience programming in one or more languagesProficiency in all phases of the system development life cycle, including requirements definition, analysis, design, programming, testing, implementation, and maintenanceDemonstrated ability to identify areas for improvement, capable of making recommendations and implementing solutionsDemonstrated ability to lead group discussionsDemonstrated skills in conflict resolutionMust work well in a team environment and be able to partner with both business and technical team membersDemonstrated ability to self-direct, multitask, and partner with technical staff from different departmentsStrong organizational and consensus-building skillsRequires technical creativity and a strong understanding of information technology in healthcarePreferred Quaifications
