About the role
Join our steel manufacturing team in Tampa, FL and run CNC machines and roll formers that produce high-quality components for steel deck systems and accessories.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC equipment to produce steel parts to specification.
- Operate roll-forming lines to create steel decking panels.
- Monitor cycle times, tool wear, and output quality to ensure efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC machinery.
- Inspect parts and panels to verify dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
- Partner with team members to optimize setups and improve production flow.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area per safety guidelines.
- Document production data and escalate equipment or quality issues to supervisors.
What you need
- High school diploma or GED; technical training/certification in machining is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience as a CNC operator or similar manufacturing role.
- Working knowledge of CNC machinery and programming fundamentals.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail with solid troubleshooting skills.
- A self-starter who also collaborates effectively in a team setting.
- Understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and best practices.
