• Collaborate with tier 1 and 2 customers, design engineering and product management teams to define system and performance requirements, feature set, and architecture definition for sophisticated IC designs composed of integrated DC-to-DC switching buck and / or boost converters, charge pumps, hybrid power converters, Analog-to-Digital Converters, fuel-gauge, general-purpose monitors, clocking, analog and digital interfaces, and device-to-device communications.
• Lead creation of technical documentation including data sheets, objective specification, application notes, and product feature and operation presentations.
• Participate in architecture reviews, IC-level design reviews and board-level design reviews to ensure design integrity and alignment with system requirements.
• Perform silicon evaluation at chip / board level and document evaluation report and errata to support necessary device modifications.
• Drive customer design in activities and provide technical guidance to ensure successful integration and product launch
• Support RMA during product development lifecycle to identify and resolve early-stage failures
• Be part of team to develop automation for silicon evaluation using Python.
• Provide PCB Circuit Design and Schematics capture to develop boards for internal and customer evaluation.
• Be part of team to verify SIMPLIS system-level models and FPGA prototypes to evaluate architectural trade-offs and feasibility study of proposed solution
