Responsibilities Home health occupational therapy position in a post-acute care setting Flexible day shifts, primarily Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm Assignment is 13 weeks in duration Required to cover an assigned geographical region Will work with a diverse patient population including orthopedic, stroke, joint, and spinal injury cases Every third weekend coverage is required May be required to cover minor holidays and major holidays if needed Business attire with white lab coat required; jeans are not permitted Cerner EMR is used in this role Duties include managing patient care for orthopedic, stroke, joint replacement, and spinal injury diagnoses Supportive team includes perm staff Rehab Aides, OTAs, and PTAs A floor-specific orientation lasting 1.5 to 2 weeks is provided Candidates may not have been employed by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and Dignity, within the past year First-time travelers will be considered Assigned region coverage required as part of duties Requirements Active Occupational Therapist license required; pending licenses not accepted (license required if applicable) Minimum of 2 years of relevant OT experience Current BLS certification is required Experience with Oasis documentation is required One year of experience in a home setting is preferred but not required Copy of driver's license must be provided Two references required : one supervisor from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and eligibility for rehire Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-640822.
