Collection Specialist

Immediate need for a talented Collection Specialist. Focus on pro-actively identifying and correcting issues prior to invoice/s becoming delinquent. Collection of CIA/ Pre-pay accounts via credit card, check, or electronic payment. Deduction investigation, collection, and/or resolution of claims turned over to collections by CAA or Sales. Researches deductions to determine validity, escalates as required to obtain resolution. Researches and investigates unapplied items on customer accounts. Generates account offsets to clear item once resolution is identifiednbsp; Process refund requests on duplicate payments and unused creditsnbsp; Investigate and prepares new credit files ensuring all available information is included in our credit packet prior to submission to management for review and approvalnbsp; Processes Monthly Customer Statements, ensures all accounts are accurate prior to being mailed. Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Key Skills; Account Receivable, Credit and Collecton,, Collection, Customer, Statement High school graduate with at least (3) years of collections experience in a corporate setting. An understanding of Financial Statements with a Bachelor39;s in business preferred. Basic Skills: Above average Excel and Word skills.
