Finance Attorney - Credit, Banking & Finance

Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 100 firm in the search for an experienced Finance Attorney to join its Phoenix office. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a transactional attorney with a strong background in credit, banking, and finance to work on high-profile deals and client matters.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle lender and borrower-side financings , including syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, and asset-based lending.
- Draft, review, and revise credit agreements, security agreements, and closing deliverables .
- Represent private equity sponsors and portfolio companies on various financing transactions (experience preferred).
- Manage deal execution, client interaction, and ensure high-quality legal work throughout transaction lifecycle.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented, proactive environment to support complex transactions.
Qualifications :
6-12 years of experience in credit, banking, and finance law.Strong experience in syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, and asset-based lending .Proven drafting and negotiation skills with the ability to manage deals independently.Admitted, or eligible for admission, to the Arizona bar .Strong academic background and ability to take on significant responsibility in deal management and client relations.Collaborative, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.Benefits and Perks :
