Responsibilities : Conduct comprehensive eye exams, including routine and medical eye care. Diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. Prescribe corrective lenses and other vision aids and provide treatment plans for eye conditions. Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventative care. Stay current on the latest advancements in optometry and ocular health. Qualifications : Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school (reciprocity is available from other licensed optometry states) Active or soon to be licensed in the state of Florida
