Job Title : Pediatric Echo Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer Pediatrics

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (06 : 30 - 15 : 00)

Experience : Minimum 2 years required

License : Pending State License accepted

Certifications : Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with the PE certification or CCI with the RCCS certification required at the time of start

Must-Have :

Must be proficient in complex congenital heart defects.

Experience with GE (vivid 95) and PACS system entering full reports preferred.

Need to be proficient in scanning pediatric echocardiograms.

Extensive knowledge of complex heart disease and defects highly recommended.

Description :

Position available for a Pediatric Echo Tech.

Daily caseload per technician ranges from 4 to 10.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday with shifts starting as early as 6 : 30 AM and as late as 8 : 00 AM.

No holiday shifts are required.

Weekends are not required.

Floating between multiple locations may be necessary.

Candidates with experience in complex congenital heart defects and pediatric echocardiograms are encouraged to apply.

A reference from a medical director is highly recommended.

BLS certification is required.

Please note that during hurricane season, employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.

Travelers should be aware of this and plan accordingly.
