Billing Specialist I

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist I to provide customer service and perform clerical and administrative work related to billing and authorization.

Key Responsibilities

Obtain and maintain accurate patient, billing, and insurance information

Review and reconcile billing reports and ensure accuracy of submitted claims

Coordinate communications with payers to enhance reimbursement opportunities

Required Qualifications

High school education or equivalent

Minimum of one year of experience in auditing or data analytics

Experience in a medical office is preferred

Familiarity with EMR systems (NextGen and / or OnBase) is a plus

Knowledge of DME / Orthotic practices is advantageous
