Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history evaluations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through analysis of imaging studies and lab results
• Collaborate with surgeons to create and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Offer intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring patient positioning, and passing instruments during procedures
• Provide exemplary pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wound care, and planning patient discharges while educating them about their recovery

Educational Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong surgical emphasis is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
