8am-4:30pm & 8:30am-5pm

Compensation: $25/Hr

As a part of the opening team for our newest Assisted Living & Memory Care community in the San Jose area, you will be part of a very special experience welcoming residents to their new home in Los Gatos. Through our engaging activity program, you will help establish the vibrant culture in this new community!

Your Typical Responsibilities

• Leading small groups of cognitively impaired seniors in our award winning therapeutic Whole Brain Fitness programs.
• Preparing materials and conducting relevant research to confidently lead engaging memory enrichment activities
• Assisting with Cognitive Assessments, tracking and trending of resident participation and maintaining compliance related documentation

Skills Required for Success

• Confidence leading small groups of seniors or special needs populations in creative and engaging activities
• Proficiency creating in Canva, Power Point or other related software and learning new software
• Creativity, Enthusiasm, Organization, Time Management and Attention to Detail

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Our Minimum Requirements

• Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology or a related field of study.
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Ability to work the defined schedule for this position which may include weekends
