Job Requirements

• Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited ultrasound technologist program
• Certifications Requirements:
  • ARDMS-AB certification
  • BLS certification
  • Additional relevant certifications such as ACLS (preferred but not required)
• Experience Requirements: At least 1 year of recent ultrasound technologist experience in a hospital setting
• Other Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (pull and push), excellent communication skills, and strong time management skills

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality ultrasound imaging services to pediatric, adult, and high-acuity patients in a hospital setting.
• Operate and maintain GE Logiq 10 ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists on site to interpret imaging results and support diagnostics.
• Manage patient interactions effectively, demonstrating excellent communication and compassionate care.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system (EPIC) and adhere to facility protocols.
