Job Description

Join our team as an Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes. You will be responsible for assembling sub-assemblies, and installing accessory components. Your work will directly contribute to meeting our quality, safety, and productivity standards while satisfying customer requirements. This facility manufactures walk in freezers panels. Providing a long term opporunity (Contract To Hire)

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in accordance with the current Quality Management System and Safety Management System.
• Assemble sub-assemblies and install accessory components and materials.
• Wire basic electrical connections per applicable diagrams.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality, engineering, and customer requirements.
• Operate hand tools including electrical and pneumatic power tools.
• Load, unload, lift, and move materials and products using lifting equipment when available.
• Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and blueprints to select and position materials and accessory components.
• Complete and maintain all associated electronic processes paperwork including checklists, stamping, blueprints, barcoding, and shipping materials.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Complete additional tasks and projects as needed by the department.

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing environment. You will work the 1st shift from 5 : 00am to 1 : 45pm, with a 45-minute lunch break. The dress code requires full-length pants made of sturdy material, such as denim, and steel-toed boots, which are not provided. Safety equipment, including safety glasses, ear plugs, and safety sleeves, will be provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Dimas, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr.
