The HealthCare GI Oncology Service Line and Disease Management Team (DMT) function to standardize care and practices across the integrated delivery system. Quality metrics, clinical research, and innovation through implementation science drive the Cancer Institute mission.The HealthCare Cancer Institute is the charter member of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Alliance. Through the Alliance we offer MSK clinical trials including phase 1 studies and active collaboration with MSK faculty through the GI DMT, cancer conferences and research activities.With over 40 employed medical oncologists across the system, we seek an eighth medical oncologist to lead our gastrointestinal oncology program at Medical Center, a 473 bed tertiary care hospital in Bridgeport, CT.
