Overview of responsibilities :

As the Assistant Vitamin Manager you have a role in helping customers make healthy choices by providing excellent customer service through managing and leading one of the busiest teams in our store.

Responsibilities include :

• Assisting the Assistant Vitamin / HBA Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit
• Being responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin / HBA team
• Effectively coordinating production, merchandising, and sales through ongoing planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Assisting in leading a team that brainstorms to deliver the finest quality of product, highest level of service, and the greatest experience your customers will receive.
• Ensuring that customers receive the best possible service and assistance with vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty products to help them better understand and respond to their health and wellness issues.
• Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and other health and body items in the department, providing guidance on supplements, health and beauty, and related products without prescribing.
• Assisting in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the Vitamin team
• Unloading and sorting through store deliveries
• Ensuring the execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines / regulations, and validating that other Vitamin team members are also aware of, and following, these procedures
