Our Westborough office is hiring for a full-time Dental Assistant. As DA, you will provide essential support to our dental and orthodontic teams, ensuring that patient care is delivered efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to help patients maintain optimal oral health.

Schedule and Locations

Full-Time Position

Alternative Work Schedule (4/10 Schedule) 7:30am - 6:30pm - 4 Days Per Week & 1 Saturday Per Month

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Prepare treatment rooms and set up instruments before procedures, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as required
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
• Manage patient records, scheduling, and appointments using practice management software.
• Maintain sterilization procedures for instruments and work areas, ensuring compliance with infection control standards.
• Help with inventory management, including ordering and stocking dental supplies as needed.
• Build rapport with patients, addressing their concerns and optimizing their experience in the office.

Qualifications

• Completion of a dental assisting program.
• Current certification in coronal polishing and dental radiology preferred.
• Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant or Dental Assistant is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in dental software and technology
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to teamwork.
