Director, Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Operations

Seeking an experienced Director of Mutual Fund & Alternative Investment Operations to be responsible for leading a high-performing team that manages all production and change-related aspects of the firm's mutual fund and alternative investment products. This role is central to the firm's strategic growth, particularly the expansion of the Alternative Investment platform - a cornerstone initiative supporting the recruitment and service of Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) advisors and their clients.

The Director will provide visionary leadership across operational strategy, execution, and transformation. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in investment operations with strong leadership, change management, and cross-functional partnership skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of experience in wealth management or investment operations, with at least 5+ years managing mutual fund and alternative investment operations (alternative investments experience is essential).
• Deep understanding of alternative investment structures, including hedge funds, private equity, and private credit, as well as mutual fund operations.
• Proven success leading large-scale operational teams and managing complex change initiatives.
• Advanced knowledge of financial operations, product lifecycle management, vendor oversight, and operational risk management.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a focus on process improvement and control environment enhancement.
• Demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Exceptional relationship-building, conflict management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, including comfort interfacing with senior executives.
• FINRA SIE and Series 99 required (or ability to obtain within established timeframe).
• Experience with large-scale transformation and technology integration in a Tier-1 operations environment preferred.
