Lead Carpenter - Finish & Framing - Charlottesville, VA

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter specialized in Finish and Framing to oversee and execute high-quality residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in custom home building and will be responsible for leading a team of carpenters to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage framing and finish carpentry teams on various residential construction projects.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute construction plans accurately.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Train and mentor junior carpenters in techniques and best practices for finish and framing carpentry.
• Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets company standards and client expectations.
• Manage materials and inventory to ensure timely availability for ongoing projects.
