Substitute Teacher Aide – White Plains, NY

Seeking a Substitute Teacher Aide to provide temporary support in Special Education classrooms. The ideal candidate will be patient, adaptable, and experienced in assisting students with diverse learning needs. Justice Center clearance must be completed before starting, and the role begins at 8 : 30 AM.

Responsibilities :

Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and IEP objectives

Support students academically, socially, and behaviorally

Help manage classroom routines and maintain order

Prepare and organize instructional materials and resources

Monitor student progress and report observations to teachers

Qualifications / Desired Experience :

Previous experience in a Special Education school

Ability to adapt quickly to various classroom environments

Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Completion of Justice Center clearance prior to starting

Availability to begin at 8 : 30 AM
