Security Professional Mall Patrol Bike

As a Security Professional Mall Patrol Bike in Birmingham, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a welcoming atmosphere for visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the property, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $14.85 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Thur 10 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Fri 10 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Sat 10 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Sun 10 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail or mall environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.
  • Observe and report on security-related matters, communicating findings to Allied Universal and / or site management as required.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies and / or evacuations according to established procedures.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to patrons and employees.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Able to ride a bike.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
