Experienced Shipping Clerk

Zephyr Tool Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and self-motivated. Prior experience is helpful but not necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process shipments using UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, DHL, and LTL/TL freight carriers
• Coordinate domestic and international shipping logistics
• Accurately package, label, and document outbound shipments
• Maintain organized shipping and receiving records
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and external carriers
• Verify contents of shipments and inspect for damage or discrepancies
• Lift and move packages up to 75 lbs regularly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous shipping/receiving experience in a warehouse or logistics setting not required but a plus.
• Proficiency with a computer and data entry.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems a plus
• Familiarity with customs forms and international compliance regulations a plus
