Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing book of business across shipper and carrier relationships
• Build long-term partnerships with customers and carriers through consistent, high-touch service
• Source, negotiate, and secure freight opportunities on a daily basis
• Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules while monitoring loads in transit
• Proactively communicate shipment updates and resolve issues quickly
• Develop and maintain a reliable, compliant carrier network
• Ensure accurate documentation, load tracking, and communication records
• Drive consistent revenue growth while exceeding monthly margin and volume targets

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience as a Freight Broker with an active book of business
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Experience with load boards, TMS platforms, and freight-matching tools
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on growth and profitability

Compensation

• Base salary range: $75,000 – $120,000, commensurate with experience and performance
