As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the location. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere through outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, checking identification as needed, and helping to maintain an orderly flow of people within the location.
  • Support emergency response efforts, including assisting with evacuations and / or providing guidance to staff and visitors during an incident.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or security-related concerns as required by site-specific policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
