Market Risk Intern - Year Round

Market Risk Year-Round Intern

CME Group is currently looking for a Market Risk Year-Round Intern. This candidate will assist the Commodities Risk Group on day-to-day activities in support of the Clearing House. Responsibilities include data analysis, report generation, testing and ad-hoc projects.

Principal Accountabilities :

• Tool Enhancement with Python programming
• Assist with daily / monthly back testing reporting
• Prepare daily, weekly and quarterly internal reports
• Support risk staff for margin analysis for energy and OTC products

Skills / Software Requirements :

Basic understanding of Derivatives including Options, Futures products and Margin / Risk framework

Knowledge in Stress Testing and Back-Testing

MS Office, Oracle, SQL, Python (Highly preferred, building the User Interface)

Education :

Currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, or Computer Science
