[job_card.job_description]UT Health East Texas Physicians has over 90 primary and specialty care clinics, providing comprehensive medical education and innovative research. There are also residency programs throughout our hospitals and clinics actively training the medical leaders of the future. LVN assumes the responsibility for the human and fiscal resources available in order to provide quality, cost-effective patient centered care. The Charge Nurse will possess and have the capabilities to perform all the major duties and critical tasks of a Licensed Vocational Nurse. The Charge Nurse will demonstrate honesty, integrity, respectfulness, discretion, responsibility and dependability. Supports the mission and vision of the facility. Must be Bilingual Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational / Practical Nurse program Current LVN / LPN licensure in the State of Texas Must possess and maintain current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification Minimum of 5 years' experience in a clinical / hospital setting Minimum of 3 years' experience in a nursing leadership / management position At least 1 year LVN / LPN experience in a clinic environment Five (5) years LVN / LPN experience At least two (2) years LVN / LPN experience as a charge nurse or supervisor
