Our client, who is based in Florida, is seeking a Vice President of Sales to drive growth, lead a high-performing team, and strengthen our market position across multiple business segments. This role is ideal for a strategic sales leader with deep commercial HVAC, mechanical contracting, or building automation experience and a proven track record of delivering revenue results in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that supports aggressive growth targets and aligns with organizational goals.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a sales organization of 20+ professionals, fostering accountability, performance, and professional growth.
- Set and manage KPIs, revenue forecasts, and performance dashboards to ensure continuous improvement and data-driven decisions.
- Partner closely with marketing, operations, and executive leadership to strengthen collaboration and optimize client engagement.
- Oversee CRM and ERP utilization to enhance visibility and reporting accuracy across business units.
- Represent the company at trade shows, association meetings, and client presentations to promote brand visibility and market presence.
- Ensure consistent client satisfaction and retention through strategic relationship management and operational alignment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA a plus).
- Minimum 10 years of sales leadership experience within commercial HVAC, mechanical services, or building systems industries.
- Strong background in team leadership with revenue accountability of $80M+ annually.
- Demonstrated ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and manage complex sales cycles.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and ERP systems such as Vista, Sage, or SAP.
- Exceptional communication, strategic planning, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% to support regional teams and client initiatives.
