Position Description

Position Duties / Responsibilities

• At the GS-07 and GS-09 grade levels you will perform development duties, as assigned.
• At the GS-12 grade level (Full Performance Level), you will perform the duties listed below.
• You will provide engineering / technical consulting services regarding the manufacturing and testing of aeronautical and support equipment in their field of expertise.
• You will provide technical requirements, advice, and support on solicitations and contracts drafted and awarded to ensure compliance with Federal, DoD, DoD Component, and commercial regulations, policies, and standards.
• You will provide technical engineering guidance and support to other engineers and technical personnel to ensure integrated product support across the product lifecycle.
• You will conduct studies and cost analyses to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of different technical solutions and options for systems and components.
• You will prepare technical reports, presentations, and other documentations to communicate technical information and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
