Excel Christian Academy And Preschool in Lakeland, FL is looking for one day time cleaning crew member to join our 63 person strong team. We are located on 6505 Odon Road. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and hard-working.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Crew Member to join our team. This role involves general cleaning responsibilities along with light maintenance tasks to ensure a well-kept facility. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Clean restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene and safety.
• Conduct light maintenance duties, such as changing light bulbs, minor repairs, and basic troubleshooting.
• Restock cleaning and maintenance supplies as needed.
• Report any major maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Follow company safety protocols and cleaning procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or light maintenance preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks is a plus.
