Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality restoration services in compliance with company standards and project scopes. This role requires strong attention to detail, particularly in tasks such as contents handling and site restoration. The technician maintains a consistently clean, organized, and professional work environment, including job sites, warehouse areas, and assigned vehicles. Key duties include the accurate placement and careful removal of drying equipment and containment systems, always adhering to safety guidelines and supervisor instructions. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding cleanliness, efficiency, and professionalism throughout every phase of the restoration process.
Duties / Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include :
Perform Quality WorkConsistently delivers restoration services at or above company quality standards.
Regularly demonstrates thorough attention to detail in all restoration tasks - including but not limited to contents handling.Always performs accurately according to scope and instructions provided.Maintain Clean, Neat & Straight Jobs / Warehouse / Vehicle / etc.Consistently keeps job sites clean, organized and professional in appearance throughout the project.
Always maintains an organized, tidy, and efficient warehouse space.Regularly maintains assigned vehicles clean, organized and stocked with necessary equipment.Placement & Removal of EquipmentConsistently assists supervisor by placing drying equipment accurately according to provided instructions.
Regularly supports prompt and careful removal of equipment as directed by supervisor.Always handles equipment responsibly, carefully, and follows supervisor instructions and safety guidelines.Placement & Removal of ContainmentConsistently installs containment properly, ensuring complete protection and effectiveness.
Regularly removes containment efficiently and at the appropriate stage of job completion.Always ensures areas are thoroughly cleaned and restored to professional condition after containment removal.Supervisory Responsibilities
This role does not include direct supervisory duties but does require cross-functional collaboration and informal leadership through accountability, support, and follow-through.Skills and Abilities
Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely and ensure high-quality work with minimal errors.Capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment, working in various environmental conditions, and being on your feet for extended periods.Works well under supervision and contributes effectively as part of a team to achieve project goals.Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions; communicates clearly with supervisors and team members.Quickly identifies issues and adapts to changes on-site while maintaining high-quality service.Follows all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a secure work environment.Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to company standards.Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required.Prior experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.IICRC certification (e.g., Water Damage Restoration Technician - WRT) is a plus and may be required within a specified timeframe after hire.Experience using restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.) is advantageous but not mandatory.Basic knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to restoration work is preferred.Physical Requirements
Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move equipment, materials, and debris weighing up to 50 pounds.Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching in various work environmentsComfortable working in confined spaces, high heat, humidity, or cold conditions, as well as areas with debris, mold, or water damageAbility to operate and maneuver heavy machinery, tools, and equipmentCapable of wearing and working in personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, gloves, and suits, for extended periodsFrequent use of hands and arms for handling materials, cleaning, and equipment operationAbility to climb ladders and work at heights when necessaryStrong stamina and endurance to perform physically demanding tasks for extended shiftsAbility to operate a motor vehicleConditions of Employment
