Job Summary :

Provides spiritual counseling and support, in accordance with patient, family and interdisciplinary team member beliefs and desires. Communicates with and enables the clergy or faith community to support patients and families. Provides spiritual consultation and education to patients, families and interdisciplinary team members.

Job Requirements :

Education and Work Experience :

• Master's of Divinity degree or equivalent subject matter accredited from a US Department of Education Approved Organization : Required
• Completed two units of Clinical Pastoral Education program recognized by ACPE or CPSP, and on track to complete four units by end of first year or employment : Required
• Three years' related experience : Preferred
• Direct pastoral ministry experience. Experience ministering in an acute healthcare setting. : Preferred
• Ecclesiastical endorsement from Seventh-day Adventist Church (ACM). Board certified through APC, ACI or CPSP or in process of completion within two years of hire. Ministerial credentials and / or licensing. : Preferred
