The Driver & Warehouse hybrid position is responsible for safely operating delivery vehicles (including our forklift and Commercial Motor Vehicles or CMVs) to transport electrical supplies to designated locations. You are expected to provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns and relaying them professionally to your other teammates. You will be expected to maintain delivery schedules and ensure timely arrival at least location and provide clear communication to customers and teammates of expected arrival dates and times. You will be expected to inspect your vehicles for mechanical and safety issues before departure, and complete necessary paperwork related to deliveries and returns as needed. This position is also responsible for various duties related to the handling of materials in the warehouse. This position receives, stores and distributes material, tools equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Be able to pass a drug screen, background and motor vehicle history check, and an annual medical certification to drive one of our Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMV)
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Lift heavy items and perform manual labor as required
• Read and write English proficiently and calculate basic arithmetic
• Be a team player and bring a positive attitude every day
• High School diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

Working Conditions

This position operates in both a warehouse setting and with outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets, as well as standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers. This position also requires you to use a conduit baler, truck straps and other means of security, and standard safety equipment both in the warehouse and while on deliveries.
